Patcher and Open Beta

I have created a patcher, and I am opening this to Open beta.

Please note the following.
1. The patcher and shard are works in progress
2. I need bug reports so I can fix things.
3. There will be changes and updates for a while.
4. One account per IP, if you need more pm or email me at Hyperion.AOD@gmail.com
5. I know it will be confusing at first but I will help when ever I can.
6. Currently not accepting further staff.
7. No pvp, at this time it should be virtually impossible, if someone kills you, let us know how they did it and I will look into it. Eventually it will be consent based pvp much in the style of world of warcraft.
8. Custom maps, custom monsters and some custom graphics, so no bitching about not being able to find stuff, that's the whole idea.

Space needed for patch is about 700mb, due to custom maps and monster animations.

Just run the setup, it will create a desktop shortcut, launch AOD using the shortcut and just login, accounts are auto create, if you have any problems, please email me.

Trying to open and it keeps saying no patcher file then it says AOD has stopped working

Additional Note: If you are running on a windows higher then XP say Vista or 7, you may need to run as admin, just right click and select run as administrator.

ok so i got the patcher, but when it starts up it skips the file saying, no patch file found moving on, then goes straight to the login screen where it freezes on verifying account. I dont know whats wrong and I hope someone sees this you guys havn sent anything in months it looks like lol aaand I have connect UO 2.0, not sure how im supposed to use that with AOD, but i can load and play other shards just fine.. just thought id add that in there

well hyperion will have to address your patching issue, i'll be sure to let him know you are having problems. but as far as connect uo goes we don't use it yet.

Are you running it in vista, if you are did you make sure to run as administator

I will be making a guide on setting up ConnectUO to play on the shard, the reason I haven't put it on the ConnectUO public list is that its still not ready for that much attention. I need people to get on and tell me what's wrong with it. Find bugs etc.

yeah im using Vista, but im not sure what you mean by right clicking and hitting admin, what I mean by that is where do I right click at?
